Tuna Mayo Onigiri (ツナマヨおにぎり)

Onigiri is a traditional Japanese dish consisting of white rice shaped into cylindrical or triangular forms and frequently wrapped in nori. It is also known as omusubi or nigirimeshi.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tuna can
  • 1 oninigiri kit You can find at Asian Market.
  • 3 tbsp mayo
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Open the tuna can and drain the oil.

  • Mix tuna together with mayo, ketchup, and soy sauce.

  • Prepare the onigiri kit.

  • Make a rice mold in the triangle shape.
  • Place the rice inside the mold. (Don't push too hard!)
  • Place the mixed tuna on the rice.
  • Cover the tuna with the rice.
  • Remove the mold and sprinkle the salt on the both side.
  • Wrap in the seaweed sheet.
